Lakewood Ranch is a beautiful master planned community located in Southwest Florida’s Manatee County.  Lakewood Ranch is the largest Certified Green Community in the United States and boasts numerous unique villages, offering an array of homes for every lifestyle.  There are townhouses, villas, maintenance-free homes, and custom estate residences.  Whatever your needs and preferences, there is a place called home in Lakewood Ranch.

Downtown Lakewood Ranch

A sense of Community is what Lakewood Ranch is all about.  On the first Friday of every month, Lakewood Ranch residents are invited to downtown Main Street for “Music on Main.”   It is a family-oriented, relaxing evening of music, food, beverages, and socializing.  Main Street is closed to traffic and open for fun, so be sure to arrive early to secure a parking spot and a seat near the music.  Other regularly scheduled events include The Sun Coast Food & Wine festival, weekend polo matches at the Lakewood Ranch Polo Fields, a variety of celebrity golf tournaments, the annual Halloween Boo Festival and 5K Run, concerts, a Farmer’s Market, art shows, car shows, and even a chili cook off.

A great quality of life is one of the first things that residents will say about living at the Ranch. With one of the nation’s top beaches and the Gulf of Mexico within a short drive of Lakewood Ranch, you can LIVE where people love to vacation.  This fast growing community was instrumental in attracting the recently constructed University Town Center, a fabulous shopping destination with upscale dining and world-class shops.

Lakewood Ranch is a community that also caters to outdoor enthusiasts.  It is the home of the Lakewood Ranch Premiere Sports Park and within minutes of Nathan Benderson Park.  The LWR Premier Sports Park consists of 140 acres, with 22 athletic fields that host sporting events such as soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, archery, flag football, ultimate frisbee, and rugby.

Nathan Benderson Park is a spacious community park, that includes a 500 acre lake.  It is ideal for recreational and competitive water sports including kayaking, paddle boats, and rowing.  This picturesque park was built to host a variety of national and international rowing events for decades to come.

If golf is your passion, look no further than Lakewood Ranch.  It boasts 3 private golf courses and one public course.  There is also quick access to The Ritz Carlton Course and the nationally acclaimed Concession Golf Course which was jointly designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin.  This phenomenal community offers something for everyone and is a fantastic place to call home.
